The leader of Cameroun’s opposition Social Democratic Front party, John Fru Ndi, yesterday In Garoua, where he is on campaign, denounced current protests againt the Biya regime.
Cameroun Trubune’s Northern region correspondent, Daniel Ibrahima, quoted Mr Fru Ndi as telling northerners to shorn ‘disorder and choas.’
Mr. Fru Ndi claimed that he had not come to Garoua to campaign but that he was against ELECAM, the Camerounese so-called Independent Electoral Commission.
Recall that a cordial entente now regigns between Mr. Fru Ndi and incumbent president Paul Biya said to be grounded on solid percuniary considerations.
